Complaints policy
Do you have a complaint? Don’t keep walking around with it.
Discuss your complaint with your obstetrician or ultrasound technician.
It is important that you feel good with your obstetrician and / or ultrasound technician. Because being pregnant is exciting enough. That is why we try to do everything to properly guide you and your child. Do you have questions? Do you have doubts? Are you dissatisfied with something? Then tell us. Preferably as quickly as possible, but also if you have been walking around with it for a while. Then we talk about it together and we try to do something about it as soon as possible. Maybe we can clear up a misunderstanding, or reassure you. Or work in a way that makes you feel more comfortable.
We are happy to make a separate appointment with you. Then we have quiet time to talk. If you find it difficult to have a conversation, you can take someone you trust to the conversation.
Call in a complaints officer
Do you want to know more about your rights or do you want advice? Or do you want to discuss your complaints with someone else first? Or do you like it if someone helps you to file a complaint?
Then contact the complaints officer.
The complaints officers are impartial. They discuss with you what you are dissatisfied with and what you would like to achieve with your complaint. They advise you what you can do. They also help you start a conversation with us if you find it difficult. Or to write a letter about you complain. The complaints officer can help you and us to find a solution together. Everything you tell the complaints officer is confidential.
Contact with the complaints officer
Contact a complaint officer via klachtverloskunde.nl
The obstetrician or ultrasound technician, possibly together with the complaint officer, tries to deal with your complaint within six weeks. Within this period you will receive a message from us about what we have done with your complaint.
If you cannot find a solution with the obstetrician or ultrasound technician and the mediation of the complaint officer, you can submit your complaint to the Obstetrics dispute committee. This independent committee investigates and assesses whether your complaint is justified. It makes a binding decision on this.
