Which care is reimbursed?

Are you wondering whether the care provided by Femme Amsterdam during your pregnancy and delivery is reimbursed by your health insurer? Femme Amsterdam has contracts with all health insurers. This means that everything that is included in basic care is fully reimbursed by the health insurers. The extra costs incurred for the Basic+ package or Premium package are for your own account.

Femme Amsterdam is not listed with my healthcare provider?

That may be true, because several obstetric practices fall under a single care group. The contracts with health insurers are concluded in two ways. The first way is direct. The second way is through the Amsterdam Midwifery Care Group, to which Femme Amsterdam is a member. With both contract types, the full basic care is reimbursed by the health insurers.

We have a direct contract with the following health insurers (and sub-labels):

  • ASR
  • CZ
  • DSW
  • EUCare
  • ENO
  • IptiQ
  • ONVZ
  • VGZ
  • Zorg en Zekerheid
  • Through the Amsterdam Midwifery Care Group we have an (indirect) contract with: Achmea, Zilveren Kruis and Menzis.

Health insurers and sub-labels

There are also a number of small health insurers that operate as a sub-label under the larger health insurers. In the image below you can see which sublabel belongs to which health insurer.
